Goverlay 1.6.2 has been released today, featuring significant improvements for Linux gamers. The update introduces an official Flatpak build in beta, full support for MangoHud 0.8.2, and compatibility with OptiScaler 0.9. Additional changes include a new Light/Dark theme system and major UI updates, alongside numerous bug fixes. The new Flatpak package is based on KDE Platform 6.10 and Qt 6.10, and it bundles MangoHud 0.8.2, vkBasalt 0.3.2.10, and Lazarus 4.4. Its filesystem detection has been adjusted for sandbox environments, and notifications function via D-Bus both within and outside the Flatpak. Developer benjamimgois noted, "I'll upload it to flathub after the beta phase. I'm sure there will be fixes to make."
