GOverlay 1.6.4 was released today, introducing a FSR4 variant management system. This new feature allows users to select between the latest FSR4 FP8 DLL, optimized for RDNA4 architecture with machine learning features, and the FSR4 INT8 (version 4.0.2) variant, which maintains compatibility with RDNA2 and RDNA3 GPUs. The system handles automatic folder creation and setup during OptiScaler updates, provides user selection through a dropdown menu, and offers persistent configuration. This update enhances flexibility for users across different AMD GPU generations. Additionally, a regression fix was implemented to correctly handle an FPS limit offset of zero, which signifies an unlimited frame rate.
