Intel Prepares Functional Nova Lake Display Support for Linux 6.20/7.0

Intel is preparing to deliver functional display support for its upcoming Nova Lake processors, with the target being Linux 6.20 or potentially Linux 7.0. The in-development Linux 6.19 kernel recently merged initial GPU support for the integrated Xe3P_LPD graphics, which will be featured in Nova Lake processors. While some initial display patches for Xe3P_LPD were included in Linux 6.19, the subsequent kernel release is anticipated to provide the complete functionality required for driving monitors from Nova Lake systems. This development is crucial for enabling display output capabilities on these next-generation Intel platforms running Linux.
