Goverlay 1.6.7 Adds OptiScaler Channel Selection, Improves Flatpak Integration
Goverlay 1.6.7 was released today, December 24, bringing new features and fixes to the Linux gaming overlay utility. The update introduces OptiScaler channel selection, allowing users to choose between stable or bleeding-edge versions of the frame generation tool, and synchronizes Goverlay's internal versions with OptiScaler builds. This release also enhances Flatpak support, specifically enabling MangoHud configuration for Flatpak Steam installations. Developer benjamimgois stated that "A bunch of updates / fixes happen this last week in order to put optiscaler and flatpak support in shape." Additional changes include fixes for tab text visibility on GNOME with dark themes and the integration of over 50 new debug checkpoints across OptiScaler operations.
