The Linux kernel is receiving a workaround to address audio quality issues observed by users installing Linux on the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X gaming handheld. These problems include audio gaps and dropouts during playback. The kernel-level workaround is currently in the process of being integrated, providing a temporary solution to mitigate the audio disruptions. This measure aims to improve the user experience for those running Linux on the Ally X while a more comprehensive and permanent fix is developed.
