Intel's Intelligent Systems Lab Organization today released Open3D 0.19, an open-source library for 3D data processing in Python and C++. This update introduces experimental cross-platform GPU support utilizing the SYCL single-source C++ abstraction layer. For systems with SYCL GPU compatibility, this new feature is designed to provide faster 3D data processing across different hardware vendors. Open3D itself provides functionalities for 3D data structures, processing algorithms, and a visualization viewer.
