AMD Queues AMDGPU & AMDKFD Driver Improvements for Linux 7.0

On Friday, AMD submitted another set of patches for its AMDGPU kernel graphics driver and AMDKFD kernel compute driver. These driver improvements have been queued in DRM-Next, a staging area for kernel graphics updates, ahead of the upcoming Linux 6.20~7.0 kernel cycle. This kernel development cycle is expected to kick off in February. The updates signify continued progress in AMD's open-source Linux driver stack, refining support for both graphics rendering and GPU compute offloading on AMD hardware platforms.
