Nvidia Releases Native GeForce NOW Linux Client in Beta

Nvidia has released a native Linux application for its GeForce NOW game streaming service. This beta application, reported today by Boiling Steam, offers an improved experience over the previous browser-based solution, simplifying access and enabling enhanced settings for users with sufficient network speeds. GeForce NOW allows subscribers to stream titles they already own on platforms such as Steam, GOG, or Epic Games Store, provided the games are supported by the service. Users authenticate ownership by connecting their store accounts through a token exchange. Boiling Steam noted the native app "makes things much easier and lets you access better settings to run your games." This release provides Linux users with a dedicated client for accessing Nvidia's cloud gaming platform.
