Linux Kernel 6.19 Integrates Collabora Arm Mali GPU, Rockchip Video Support
Collabora recently detailed its significant contributions to the ongoing development of Linux Kernel 6.19. The company's 21 developers contributed 125 patches, focusing on key areas for graphics and system-on-chip support. Noteworthy additions include improvements for Arm Mali GPUs, expanded support for MediaTek and Rockchip SoCs, and continued progress in Rust language integration within the kernel. Additionally, the updates introduce new Rockchip video capture functionality, enhancing multimedia capabilities for devices utilizing these SoCs.
