Kent Overstreet today released Bcachefs 1.37, the newest feature release for this out-of-tree file-system driver and its user-space tooling. This update brings support for Linux kernel 7.0. A significant development in this release is the stabilization of erasure coding, enhancing data redundancy. Bcachefs 1.37 also introduces new sub-commands, further expanding the capabilities of this next-generation, copy-on-write file-system.
