Linux 7.0 Fixes Long-Standing GPU Hang Bug for AMD GCN 1.0 Hainan GPUs

A fix for a long-standing bug affecting AMD GCN 1.0 "Hainan" GPU models has been merged into the Linux 7.0 kernel overnight. This addresses a bug report from 2021 concerning GPU hangs on these aging graphics cards. The resolution involved "just a small tweak to fix the issue reported of GPU hangs." The patch is also slated for back-porting to existing Linux stable kernel versions, providing improved stability for users running systems with AMD Hainan GPUs.
