A new version of Miracle-WM, a tiling window manager built around the Wayland compositor Mir, was released recently. Version 0.9 introduces a WebAssembly plugin system and a new Rust API. Developer Matthew Kosarek, a Canonical engineer who developed Miracle-WM as a personal project, stated that these additions will allow for expanded window management, animation, and configuration capabilities. Kosarek noted the new plugin system makes Miracle-WM "truly hackable."
