The Khronos Group expressed, "We're proud to welcome Meta to the Khronos Group Board of Directors!" Ron Bessems, previously the Chair of the OpenXR Working Group, has been appointed as Meta's new Director on the board. His extensive experience is expected to contribute to the Board's initiatives in open graphics and computing APIs.
