Phoronix has published an analysis of Intel Lunar Lake CPU performance on Linux, detailing improvements observed over the past year. The benchmarks examine the evolution of CPU performance on the platform since April 2025, comparing current results, including those on Ubuntu 26.04, against initial tests conducted with a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura Edition. This report builds upon a prior Phoronix study that evaluated the Xe2 integrated graphics performance gains for Lunar Lake on Linux systems. The findings indicate an ongoing progression in Lunar Lake CPU capabilities on Linux.
