The new KRAID compiler for modern Arm Mali graphics has been merged into Mesa 26.2. This integration will benefit the open-source Panfrost and PanVK drivers, which provide OpenGL ES and Vulkan support, respectively, for Arm Mali GPUs. The merger follows initial code submissions made last week. The addition of KRAID is intended to improve the compiler infrastructure for these open-source drivers, potentially leading to better performance and compatibility for applications running on Arm Mali hardware with Mesa.
