NVIDIA's upcoming open-source Nova driver is moving closer to supporting Hopper and Blackwell graphics processors. Out this week was the 12th iteration of enablement code for these architectures in the Rust-written Nova driver, which is intended to be the future open-source NVIDIA Linux driver. While Nova driver development continues, the existing upstream open-source Nouveau driver already provides support for NVIDIA's Hopper and Blackwell GPUs by utilizing the GPU System Processor (GSP) code path.
