Intel Develops Linux Driver Patches for HDR Over DisplayPort MST

Intel is developing new Linux kernel display driver patches to enable High Dynamic Range (HDR) support over DisplayPort Multi-Stream Transport (DP MST) connections. Currently, Intel's Linux driver limits HDR functionality, preventing it from working with DP MST setups such as daisy-chained monitors or multi-monitor docking stations. These patches are currently being worked on to address this limitation, which will expand HDR compatibility for users utilizing these DisplayPort configurations.
