Intel Xe Driver Adds DRM Cold Reset Recovery for Stability
A series of patches introducing a cold reset recovery method for Direct Rendering Manager (DRM) drivers is currently under active development and revision. This effort primarily targets the Intel Xe kernel graphics driver on Linux. The patch series has undergone nearly a dozen revisions, signifying ongoing work towards integration into the kernel. The goal of this development is to enhance the stability and error recovery capabilities for Intel GPUs when operating within the Linux environment, ensuring more robust system performance.
