AMD openSIL & Coreboot Phoenix AM5 Support Upstreaming Initiated

Firmware consulting firm 3mdeb has begun upstreaming their open-source firmware support for modern AMD Ryzen AM5 platforms. Last week, 3mdeb released their initial open-source firmware, based on AMD openSIL and Coreboot, for an MSI desktop ATX motherboard under their Dasharo flavor. Following the successful implementation of this firmware, the firm is now working to integrate the AM5 platform support and Phoenix SoC support directly into the main AMD openSIL and Coreboot projects. This effort aims to make open-source firmware more broadly available for recent AMD hardware.
