Goverlay 1.6.5 Improves Persistence, Non-Steam Launcher & vkBasalt Paths
Goverlay, the open-source Linux overlay for monitoring system performance and displaying information in games, released version 1.6.5 today. This "fix release" primarily focuses on improving the user experience and compatibility. Key changes include enhanced configuration persistence for user selections such as network interfaces and fonts. The user interface has also been made more responsive, particularly during download and notification events. Additionally, Goverlay 1.6.5 now offers better compatibility with non-Steam launchers through the use of absolute paths, and ensures consistent vkBasalt paths across various installation methods. These updates aim to provide a more stable and reliable experience for users.
