PCSX2 v2.7.37 Released, Adds Vulkan Present from Compute Queue

PCSX2, the PlayStation 2 emulator, released version 2.7.37 today, January 14, 2026. This update follows the 2.7.30 release from yesterday and introduces a specific Vulkan rendering optimization. The most notable change in v2.7.37 is the implementation of "Present from the compute queue" for its Vulkan (GS/VK) backend. This allows the emulator to submit frames for display from a dedicated compute queue rather than solely the primary graphics queue. This technical change, introduced via pull request #13688, can potentially improve rendering efficiency, reduce latency, and optimize GPU resource utilization when playing emulated titles on Vulkan-capable hardware.
