Phoronix has published new Linux benchmarks detailing the Intel Rendering Toolkit and OpenVINO AI performance on Intel's Panther Lake processors. The testing focused on the Core Ultra X7 358H, which features Xe3-based Arc B390 Graphics. Benchmarks compare the Xe3 B390's performance against prior Intel generations, specifically Lunar Lake and Meteor Lake. These recent results follow a month of extensive Linux benchmarking on the new Panther Lake hardware, which Phoronix noted earlier had "quite interesting with its OpenGL and Vulkan graphics performance compared to prior generations of Intel graphics plus the Intel Compute Runtime / OpenCL performance too." The current analysis provides specific insights into the GPU's capabilities for AI inference and advanced rendering workloads on the Linux platform.
