Arm has announced Frame Advisor 2026.1, a significant upgrade to its Vulkan frame analysis tool, which is part of the free Arm Performance Studio suite. Released recently, this version introduces a new Vulkan capture pipeline built on GFXReconstruct. This architectural shift aims to modernize how Frame Advisor collects frame data, with Arm stating it will "significantly improve capture reliability, correctness, and long-term scalability for complex Vulkan workloads." The tool assists graphics developers in visualizing GPU workload structures and identifying performance bottlenecks with greater precision.
