GOverlay 1.8.4 Adds Hardware Fingerprinting, Automates Builds for x86/AArch64

GOverlay 1.8.4 was recently released, focusing on enhancing its Pascube benchmark component. The update integrates unique hardware fingerprinting (client-id) and digital signatures to verify and authenticate submitted benchmark results, improving the integrity of hardware comparisons. Developer benjamimgois stated, "Implemented unique hardware fingerprinting (client-id) and signatures to verify and authenticate benchmark results." This also streamlines the submission process, redirecting users to a visual database webpage for statistics. Additionally, Goverlay 1.8.4 now provides automated builds for deb, rpm, AppImage, and Flatpak packages, supporting both x86 and aarch64 architectures. This expands availability and simplifies installation for a wider range of Linux users.
