NVIDIA Linux Driver 595.84 Released with Upcoming GPU Support, Wayland Improvements

NVIDIA has released its 595.84 production branch display driver for Linux x64, available since June 20. This update provides full support for the latest Linux kernel modules. Key enhancements include initial support for upcoming NVIDIA GPUs, reflecting future hardware integration. The driver also incorporates performance improvements, various bug fixes, and updated Vulkan extensions. Specific resolved issues in this release include a problem where some DisplayPort monitors would not wake from suspend, and a regression that could lead to X server crashes with certain desktop environments. Additionally, NVIDIA has improved Wayland compositor compatibility, enhancing desktop integration for users.
