Intel Jay Shader Compiler Achieves Vulkan CTS Pass for Xe2/Xe3 GPUs

Intel's Jay graphics shader compiler has achieved Vulkan Conformance Test Suite (CTS) pass status for upcoming Xe2 and Xe3 generation hardware. Alyssa Rosenzweig, who joined Intel last year after contributing to Valve's graphics stack and Asahi Linux, leads the development of the Jay compiler. This new SSA-based shader compiler is being integrated into Intel's Mesa Iris Gallium3D and ANV Vulkan drivers. This milestone confirms the compiler's correctness and readiness, ensuring robust Vulkan API support for Intel's next-generation integrated and discrete GPUs on Linux.
