LunarG has today released Vulkan SDK 1.4.357, bringing significant updates for developers. The new SDK features major KosmicKrisp performance gains, reportedly "up to ~2.35x faster," alongside full Vulkan 1.4 exposure on Apple platforms. This release also introduces 13 new Vulkan extensions, expanding API capabilities. For debugging, the Validation Layers now include a new Scoped GPU-Assisted Validation (GPU-AV) feature and a new GPU Dump tool. The SDK is available across Linux, Windows, and macOS.
