Intel Arc Pro B70 Linux Benchmarks Detail AI, OpenCL, OpenGL, Vulkan Performance

Intel Arc Pro B70, a Battlemage G31 graphics card featuring 32 Xe cores and 32GB of GDDR6 memory, received initial Linux benchmarks this week from Phoronix. The card was announced last month, and Phoronix subsequently received four units last week for extensive testing. This initial report focuses on single-card performance comparisons against other Intel Arc Graphics hardware. The published benchmarks cover key areas including AI and LLM workloads using OpenVINO and Llama.cpp, OpenCL compute tests, and graphical performance via OpenGL and Vulkan. Multi-GPU performance analysis is currently underway and is being integrated with re-testing efforts for the upcoming Ubuntu 26.04 release.
