Mesa 26.2.2 Enables Intel Nova Lake Graphics By Default

Mesa 26.2.2 was released today as the latest bi-weekly stable point release for the open-source OpenGL and Vulkan drivers. A key change in this release is the default enablement of Intel Nova Lake graphics. This development provides out-of-the-box graphics support for systems featuring Nova Lake hardware. This enablement builds upon recent foundational work in the Linux kernel. The Linux 7.3 kernel, reported on July 31, 2026, was slated to stabilize Intel Nova Lake S integrated graphics. With Mesa 26.2.2 now enabling these graphics by default, users can expect more seamless hardware utilization on supported systems.
